So things are still going pretty well here in New York. The weather is finally starting to warm up and we have plenty of sunshine. Thank goodness because it seemed like for a while it rained day after day.
I've gotten involved with FRG, and have taken the Key Caller class. There are quite a few events going on this summer with FRG that I am looking forward to. We just had a picnic a few weeks ago, we have a pig roast coming up, whitewater rafting (which I have to miss because it is a week before my due date), and a picnic in August. I am very excited about the picnic because I can't wait to show off Miss Hannah. :-)
The pregnancy is going well. I feel pretty fortunate that I haven't had any problems. She is healthy, measuring right where she needs to be, and I've barely gained weight. Only about 7 1/2 weeks left till she is here. However, my husband keeps telling me she is going to come early, which I kind of have a feeling she might as well. Or maybe it is wishful thinking on my part.
I feel like I am having a hard time meeting people. Yes, I have met a few through FRG and a few girls I knew from basic and OCS last year are coming here, but I don't have that one person that I feel like I can call on any occasion. It just makes me wonder what I am doing wrong. It is harder than I thought it would be. Anyway...

we have been at ft drum since the end of january. i wish i could say that we were fortunte enough to dodge the deployment bullet but we weren't. four days after arriving we were informed that they were taking him. needless to say...it has been rough but we have managed.
happy to hear you bought a house, hope all is well with that.
we live right off post so hubby only has a 5 minute drive.
congrats on your daughter...we are expecting the first week in august and are crossing our fingers that he makes it home for r & r in time.
making friends can sometimes be hard, but know that you have another pregnant mommy who understands all that you are going through.

Congrats on the baby! We are due July 31st, so you are due very close to me. Where are you delivering? I will be at Samaritan. I hope hubby gets to come home for R&R as well and will be home for the birth. We were trying to plan around deployment.
We have only been here since January. I actually officially moved to Drum in Feb. when we closed on our house. We are in Carthage, so our drive to post is only about 15 minutes.
Please let me know if you need anything while he is gone.
